Luke 7:4-6

New Matthew Bible

⁴ And they came to Jesus and besought him urgently, saying, He is worthy that you should do this for him, ⁵ for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.

⁶ And Jesus went with them. And when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy that you should come under my roof.
